I had a decent stay at Lavita Hotel. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the bustling Ximending area, which is a highlight. However, the room had some cleanliness issues, and the dim lighting made it feel less inviting. Overall, for the price point, it's acceptable but could use improvements.

The Standard Double Room was of decent size, but it felt a bit dirty and had a smell of cigarettes. The lighting was on the dim side, which didn't help the ambiance.

The staff were patient and incredibly helpful, even with my limited Chinese. However, the lack of a 24-hour front desk was inconvenient, especially when dealing with keycard issues.

Being so close to the shopping center and attractions in Ximen was fantastic. Everything I wanted to see was within walking distance, making it a great base for my trip.

While there wasn't a formal dining option, the complimentary snack bar offered coffee, snacks, and water, which was a nice touch after a long day exploring.

The shared elevator was a bit dirty, and cleanliness should definitely be improved. I also missed having a bidet in the bathroom.

I had a mixed experience at Lavita Hotel. The location was fantastic, being close to everything, including the bustling Ximending night market. However, I faced some significant issues with my room initially, which was moldy and had a water leak. Thankfully, the staff was accommodating and moved me to a better room. Overall, it was decent but could use improvements.

My stay at Lavita Hotel was a mixed bag. On one hand, the location was fantastic and the staff was incredibly helpful, but on the other hand, I experienced some issues with room condition and cleanliness that were a bit concerning.

I stayed in a Standard Double Room, and while it was a decent size, I found it to be musty with a water leak around the window. It seemed the staff was aware of the issues but still assigned the room. Fortunately, they were quick to change me to a better room after I alerted them.

The staff were genuinely lovely. They were patient with my attempts at speaking Chinese and very accommodating when I reported the issues in my room. They even offered some tasty snacks and coffee at the reception which was a nice touch.

The hotel's location was ideal—close to markets and everything else in Taipei. However, it can be a bit tricky to find at first since it's located on the top level of a building, requiring a lift ride that lacks ventilation (I certainly wouldn’t want to be stuck in there!).

While my stay didn't include specific dining options, I appreciated the availability of instant noodles and snacks at the reception. It was convenient and definitely catered to both eastern and western tastes.

The hotel seems refurbished and comfortable enough, but the furnishings were slightly dated and the overall building felt a bit run down. I also noticed some cleanliness issues in my room that could use attention.

I had a mixed experience at Lavita Hotel. While the location in Ximending was fantastic, close to the night market and many restaurants, the overall condition of the hotel left much to be desired. The initial entrance was hard to find, and the cleanliness of the elevator turned me off a bit. yet, the rooms themselves were clean and spacious.
